While we are walking together in the holiday season, do not forget to take some time for yourself so as not to be stressed and burned when we arrive in the different parties of the holidays. Now I invite you to follow these few tips and go to Zen with Ford just before the frenzy.
Zen with Ford: A weekend of relaxation.
It was during a getaway at the Auberge du Lac at Eau-Claire earlier this fall that we were introduced to these different techniques to be more Zen. Let’s start these tips when we are in the vehicle precisely.
Zen with Ford: Aware behind the wheel
In order to help yourself, here are some tips we learned to be less stressed at the wheel.
- Establish a clear road map to avoid frustration
- Adjust the position of the seat and mirrors
- Align the spine in a sitting position
- Refuel or refuel the vehicle to its full potential.
- Make the waiting gap.
On the way.
- Adopt mindfulness by incorporating periods of silence
- Listen to relaxing music to help calm
- Think of simple exercises to do when stopping the vehicle
- Shoulder roll (restoring posture)
- Rotate the neck, wrists (muscle relaxation)
- Opt for abdominal breathing (learn to breathe conscientiously)
Arrival at destination
- Exercise a vertebral torsion (muscle relaxation)
- Take a minute of meditation to relieve stress
For Ford vehicles, many of their functions including back-up cameras or when you make a call, listen to music, or search for the nearest gas station on the go, the system SYNC 3 lets you stay connected in hands-free mode.
Zen with Ford: Being Zen on a daily basis
There are also other ways to be Zen everyday, this is what our Zen weekend with Ford taught us with Nathalie Bureau, a specialist in time management.
First we have to look at the different hats that are worn in life, there are many, and these can influence the different spheres of our lives.
- Brother / sister
- Signficant other
- Man Woman
We need to establish the roles we play and put our priorities in the roles that we think are important for a good balance. We must also make a “stop list”, in addition to our “to do list”, a list of things that make it impossible to do our “to do list” of our day. Things that block us to accomplish our tasks. Both are equally important.
Zen with Ford: Time Management
One thing is all the same, that all humans on this earth have 168 hours in a week. The difference is in the way we use these hours.
A good way to end 2018 and start well in 2019 is to have a balanced schedule. With different colors and our priorities. Do not hesitate to share it with our loved ones so that they know our schedule to adapt to it.
It was a great weekend with Ford that allowed me to relax and take action to optimize my time. Feel free to take this time during your holiday season to relax and recharge your batteries.
Moreover, a ticket on the Bota Bota will be posted online in the coming days to help you relax during this crazy time.
