An Italian Summer with RDPMAG – Magazine Preview
While the summer has just begun, we present our brand new magazine, that of the summer period. While once again this year, the Aperol Spritz (which our house mixologist Jérôme Laflamme made us a recipe with blood orange) assault the terrace, the joy of life of a An Italian Summer inspired us for this magazine.
The Bookmark, everything that happens in Canada
As usual, we offer various activities and destinations in Canada’s major urban centers: Halifax, Quebec, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton by Michel Favuzzi and Vancouver. Employees will join us in the coming weeks to share their discoveries.
An Italian Summer mixes with Fine Dining
Italians are of course known for their table specialties for their cheeses, pasta and more. So we met Marcello Lunelli from Ferrari Trento to learn more about this Italian “champagne”. We continue in this vein with the meeting of Gian Luca Passi of Preposulo, one of the co-founders of FIOL, the perfect Prosecco for your cocktails. Speaking of cocktails, Jérôme Laflamme makes us 3 Italian inspired-cocktails, a spritz, a negroni, which celebrates its 100th anniversary, as well as a limoncello inspiration. We share a recipe for lobster risotto with our partner La Mer. Also, sommelier Claude Boileau offers us his summer rosés! Not to mention a discussion with a coffee expert from Nespresso Canada to tell us about the two new collections that have just appeared.
Entertainment: Up to the Culture
While the theme A Summer in Italian is a little less present in this section, we still talk about very interesting topics. Discover our musical suggestions for a summer that will certainly move. We are also talking about a brand new exhibition at the McCord Museum, The Polaroid Project, and two exhibitions at the MAC, which is pausing its expansion project, which will surely surprise you.
The Art of living, Inspired by Italy
It would be so easy to talk about the art of living in the Italian, but we offer places to decorate. Whether you are talking about the recently renovated Nespresso flagship boutique where you can enjoy a succulent coffee, or Le Bota Bota where you can relax as if you were on a boat in Venice! The all-new Must Société Laval store will provide you with everything you need to make you an Italian-inspired decoration! Our friends at Cosentino have just unveiled the new Silestone Eternal Noir, a beautiful tone for your surfaces.
Ready to Travel
We certainly could have made you see Italy with our travel section, but we keep you in Canada. With the discovery of the Four Seasons Hotel Montreal, all new in the Montreal landscape and its terrace inspired by European coasts, but also the new name of Montreal-Trudeau airport, which will allow you to fly to Italy.
Fashion and Beauty: For an Italian Summer
While Clusier and his European and especially Italian fashion takes the limelight with his suggestion of 3 summer looks to be elegant at any temperature and the presentation of the renewed store, we talk with Andrea Soriani, an Italian and especially Vice-President Marketing at TAG Heuer, of the history of TAG with racing and news from the Swiss brand. We also have a look at the new David Yurman store (we’ll get back for more on this) from Holt Renfrew Ogilvy.
Let’s ride with Formula 1!
As for the driving section, it is certain that we would like to try an Italian car, but it will be soon, at least we hope so. So we tried the 2019 Ford Edge Titanium on the streets of Montreal. We have already talked about the ride here, but a little less about the test and the specifications of the vehicle. Speaking of vehicles, OK Tire helps us understand the similarities and differences of the F1 and Road tires, an article you had in exclusivity on the website.
Sports, from grass to asphalt.
While the Alouettes started their season a little over a week ago, Maryse Gagnon, our football associate, talks about the Alouettes season, these articles will be here during the season. We also talk about the 1 OAK F1 Paddock Club ™ Suite with Peter Klein.
The Business Section, heading for an Italian Summer.
Finally, we are talking about the new initiative of PUR Vodka and Adpote Inc. for entrepreneurship and we end on Italy with our great interview with Pierre-Benoît Duhamel, a passionate entrepreneur and founder of Clusier, a boutique for men located in the Old Montreal, which holds the biggest Italian and European brands. Moreover, Clusier is one of our new partners and allows you, as a member, to save $ 100 on your next purchase over $ 300 (certain conditions apply).
